I managed a NYSDOH Article 28 Diagnostic and Treatment Center with a budget of $16 million and 160 employees. In this capacity, I was extensively involved in all aspects of operations including accreditation/compliance, health information exchange system, breakthrough cost and quality effective primary care delivery model for 8,000 clients (union members), investment strategies for reserve funds ($15 million), grand funding in excess of $8million, low interest financing for capital improvements/space expansion, and management of IT and finance contracts. In addition, I revamped the process that increased patient/staff satisfaction. I also developed an emergency management plan with staff training and directed the successful construction of a $14 million state-of-the-art radiology/physician therapy suite center and a multi-faceted relocation plan.
