Empathia AI is an AI-native clinical platform designed to meaningfully reduce documentation burden while improving care quality across diverse practice settings and specialties. Built in close partnership with physicians, Empathia supports the entire clinical workflow—from patient intake and multilingual consultations to structured notes, coding, and follow-up—so clinicians can spend more time practicing medicine and less time charting. I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to work alongside an exceptional, mission-driven team spanning AI research, engineering, product, customer success, and medicine. I studied the molecular mechanism of iron metabolism by using a model organism called Ustilago maydis. During the last two years of my graduate work, I expanded my interest to computer science and bioinformatics.

I investigated biocontrol using an antibiotic secreting bacterium Streptomyces lydicus and conducted large scale experiments, i.e. by planting (lots of) potatoes both in greenhouses and fields:).
