• Lead the development of advanced, proprietary analytics software for a $2.5Bn hedge fund. • Develop robust algorithms for statistical equity/credit screening and volatility arbitrage. • Calculate historical VaR, expected shortfall, and perform CVaR sensitivity analysis for risk management. • Implement systems to calculate multivariate, scenario-based P&L for Credit default swaps, equities, and equity options. • Employ advanced quantitative techniques such as entropy pooling and Bayesian statistics to impose particular views on statistical data and determine the P&L impact for a portfolio of holdings. • Articulate actionable information (portfolio rebalancing, optimal signals, etc.) in the context of specific performance measures such as: non-dimensional ratios (Sharpe, Sortino, etc.); utility-based certainty equivalents; or spectral measures that may include: mean variance optimization, prospect theory, or contrarian views. • Perform transaction cost analysis (TCA) to determine the execution performance of our trading and for defining constraints in portfolio optimization models.

• Senior technology advisor for modeling, simulation, business analytics and business intelligence. o Align ~$5M in annual research funding to key technical, analytic and quantitative capabilities. o Ensure our business analytics enterprise directly supports the need to properly communicate PBL investment strategies and quantify risk for our customers. o Develop long-range technology enrichment plans to deliver world-class sustainment system offerings. • Advanced modeling and simulation lead for Global Sustainment – Core Innovation o Apply the latest model-based design and development solutions to the aircraft sustainment system. o Integrate MBD, discrete event simulation, and statistical decision theory in an agile development environment that delivers working analysis models in a timely manner. o Ensure a stable, sustainable trajectory for the growth and market penetration of our capabilities.

• Chief Engineer for the CerTA FCS CRAD ($1.3M) • Principal investigator for the SkunkWorks Model-Based Safety-Critical V&V Technology IRAD. • Mentor new engineers in the fields of aerodynamics, stability and control, digital flight controls, embedded systems, and software development. • Develop automated tools for real-time data collection and analysis for F-35 flight control integration and test.

• Performed FMET (failure modes and effects testing) on the stability augmentation system and active lift distribution control system for the C-5 AMP program. • Directed pilot evaluations, FMET, and integrated testing of the Peace Xenia and Peace Puma F-16 flight control systems. • Developed embedded models for the Block 60 F-16 and T-50 engineering test stations. • Completed the Engineering Leadership Development Program in August 2004 • Performed system-level integration and testing of the T-50 and Block-60 F-16 flight control systems including stand-alone V&V, integrated V&V, and FMET. • Implement SIMON technology to expedite the task of initial flight simulator integration with hot-bench setup. • Develop tools for tracking and verification cross-reference of test procedures and results. • Implement ActiveX and MFC in the design of rapid data visualization and analysis utilities.
