A privately-held $2B depository institution and mortgage banking company that specialized in origination and servicing of subprime mortgage loans. Annually originated and sold (private-label securitizations) more than $2.5B in loans. • Served on a newly-created strategic team that included regulatory counsel, valuation consultants, and ownership principals focused on developing capital restoration plans designed to enable the bank’s strategic repositioning. • Implemented enhanced operating expense variance, unit cost and activity-based costing analyses; facilitated a comprehensive organizational restructuring and divisional consolidation that reduced operating expense 35%.
