American Bio Source is dedicated to the collection, processing and recycling of waste cooking oil from food producers like restaurants, cafeterias, government facilities, manufactures of food products and any other industry that makes use of and has need for disposal of vegetable oils. Our service provides an environmentally responsible method for our clients to dispose of and indirectly recycle cooking oils and grease. We help producers of biofuels and other products made with used cooking oils to meet the ever-growing demand for renewable energy and fuel. We have developed custom technology and solutions to reduce the risk of accidents and odors in kitchen related to the disposal of used cooking oils with the introduction of our line of IoT computer-controlled grease bins and accessories. Tied closely with our custom-made business ERP system and client port called BCC “Biodiesel Control Center” giving our clients the best experience possible. Our fleet of trucks are also high tech. With the latest technology in fleet management automation, real-time video and forms capturing we raise the bar on service. Our dispatch team can see what our drive sees making them a tight team to support our clients.

•Led a turnaround for a troubled IT department known for providing inadequate and unreliable service and having an inefficient IT model. Resulting in the reduction of the use of 3rd party contractors saving over $1.2 million annually. •Helped the company grow rapidly by more than 200% through dozens of company acquisitions and integration into Associa’s service offerings resulting in improved operations and expanded revenue. •Lead the development of a complex newly patented real-estate resale processing system, as well as numerous web based business applications to include mobile applications for iPhone, Android and other devices. These applications produce in excess of $30 million in revenue. •Developed a strong security minded culture resulting in the formation of a security department. •Charged with the complete redesign of the organizations technology infrastructure, vision, strategy, operating structure and support structure. The results of which has transformed and improved the way the business operates. •Reduced operating expense by more than $1 million annually by negotiated contracts in favor of the company for data center space, electrical usage, data & voice service. •Moved the company’s datacenter from an inadequate location to a highly scalable and redundant SAS-70 compliant co-location facility while increasing capability and reducing operating cost by more than 50%. •Lead the implementation of an internal cloud infrastructure and standard technologies such as VMware, Citrix and Cisco IP telephony to increase availability and reduce operating expense. •Established the company’s first PMO office and managed technical aspect of over 50 office relocations. •Defined the IT governance and project methodology conforming to industry standards such as ITIL, PMI & Agile Scrum.

Successfully improved effectiveness of the IT department known for providing an inefficient and decentralized services. Moreover, charged with ensuring organization met HIPAA guidelines regarding technology and non-technology issues, establishing new technology datacenter infrastructure using VMware to virtualize 75% of the systems to meet HIPAA compliance issues, reliability concerns and resolving critical budget issues. IT leadership role focuses on leading teams charged with enterprise, voice, data, and low voltage technology to meet the needs of residents (clients) and improve internal customer support (staff). Significant functions entail budget oversight, cost saving initiatives, technology and project implementation, technology road mapping, corporate and community relations, customer service, and staff mentoring. Act as a senior technology adviser to senior management and Board of Directors.

Established a world-class IT Department from the ground floor, created an SAAS product and high-availability infrastructure to support a revenue-generating product. Key activities included all aspects of the technology infrastructure, managing the product, and spearheading an Internet market and product demonstration site. Focused on 24/7/365 operations and support management, technology vision, design setup and operation of multiple data center and telecommunications vendor management, contract negotiations, project management, network engineering, information security, staffing, and customer service.

Position was highly classified and activities were top secret. Reporting structure included all major branches of service to include DoD, DoJ, NSA and others. I directed datacenter and computer and communications equipment. Projects included designing and maintaining a new network architecture, ensuring security for classified and unclassified networks, maintaining WAN links for several government agencies.
