Manage a staff of 16 people to perform the financial and managerial accounting, cost management, reporting, payroll, accounts payable, purchasing, warehousing, logistics, transportation functions for Copper Mountain Mine. Copper Mountain ’s main asset is the 75% owned Copper Mountain Mine (BC) Ltd located in southern British Columbia. In November of 2017 the company announced the merger with the Australian listed company Altona Mining to develope the Eva Copper Project, in Queensland, Australia, As the Project Commercial Director for the Eva Project feasibility study for the process plant and the associated infrastructure design including the site earthworks, roads , accomodation camp, truck shop and buildings. The 18,000 acre mine site has a resource of approximately 5 billion pounds of copper. The annual production for Copper Mountain is approximately 100 million pounds of copper with gold and silver credits. As the Energy Manager also responsible for the commercial agreements and demand side management of electricity supply. The original plant design used 71. MW as the preliminary design requirement. The BC Hydro 138kv line which feeds Copper Mountain from Merit is capacity limited originally established at 61MW. One of the main design challenges during the design phase was to bring design and construction of the new plant to within the established line capacity. The 10.23 MW energy reduction was be primarily achieved through the introduction of Variable Frequency Drive systems, redesign of processes removing wound rotor motors, IEEE841 High Efficiency Low Voltage Process Motors, and mechanical processes in favour of newer tested energy efficient technologies. The yearly power usage was estimated to be 491.6 GWh/year, based on 92% plant availability million. In addition the mining operations utilize between 32-35 million liters of diesel fuel annually.

Country Dominican Republic As Material Manager I was involved in the formulation of plans and the execution of the overall material management activity on this $3.8 Billion Mega Project EPC projects. The role was responsible for assisting in the planning and execution of specialized material management functions. This position reports operationally to the Project Director and functionally to the Materials Management Department Manager. Other responsibilities include: - Direct the development of all material management activities including, but not limited to, material identification, Request for Quotations, equipment and material delivery, installation and field commissioning, and project close-out. - Provides general and direct supervision to material management personnel assigned to the project. - Performs material planning, procurement, logistics, SQS/inspection, and field material management activities in accordance with general business acumen, corporate OSR, and the established project and Material Management Plans, policies, and procedures - Remains knowledgeable of business unit activity and keeps the project and office functional direct reports informed concerning material management matters.
