As the global engineering leader for Flowserve's Structural Simulations and Rotor Analysis team, I lead a specialized group of engineers providing advanced simulation support across all Flowserve divisions. This includes structural analysis, rotor dynamics, and complex CAE simulations, with both collocated and globally dispersed team members aligned under Global Engineering Services (GES). My responsibility is to ensure the team delivers accurate, timely, and high-impact technical guidance to support new product development, customer orders, field performance issues, and engineering problem-solving. I’m focused on building and maintaining strong technical capabilities, driving innovation, and enabling high-quality, data-driven decisions that enhance product reliability and customer value. The global engineering leader for a team of specialist engineers supporting all Flowserve divisions in the Material Science Center of Excellence (COE) with dedicated and collocated resources as well as virtual team members who are geographically dispersed and partially or fully allocated to Engineering Services.

• Lead a team of 80+ engineers including defining performance expectations, identify training, coaching, and empowers associates to manage work. • Provide full-fledged engineering support (proposal engineering, new product development and order engineering support, product engineering) to Flowserve pump business units located across globe.

Roles and Responsibilities: • Manage 3 teams, each having one engineering supervisor (team leader) with 8 to 10 direct reporting engineers includes defining performance expectations, identify training, coaching, and empowers associates to manage work. • Provide full-fledged engineering support (proposal engineering, new product development and order engineering support) to Flowserve pump business units located in Europe and Americas. • Responsible for performance management and annual pay review for supervisors and engineers, including promotion of high performance candidates as warranted. • Work closely with the engineering leadership team to drive Flowserve strategy through effective deployment and communication to team members. • Perform analysis and trending of engineering errors to identify training needs for engineers. • Ensure adequate staffing levels and skill sets are maintained to meet business unit requirements. • Monitor and support team to meet or exceed key performance metrics (OTD, KQI, Efficiency and Utilization). • Proactively engage with Business Units to anticipate changing business needs to drive optimal levels of utilization. Initiate and guide Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) activities at GTEC. • Prepare draft Annual Operating Plan (AOP) including headcount plan, software/hardware requirements and training needs. Support GTEC director to achieve targeted AOP metrics. • Ensure that new product development / R&D projects are executed to meet cost and scheduled objectives. • Motivate and lead team members by setting a good example resulting in healthy group dynamics. • Working as a subject matter expert (SME) for Windchill-OEPDMS and looking after the implementation and training of OE-PDMS at GTEC Benegaluru.

• Supervising the day to day work of team of engineers, job allocations based on their skill sets. • Review and approve the work done by the team. • Work closely with the engineers, guide, motivate and coach them to meet the business expectations. • Work closely with the management on the training, development opportunities for the team members • Ensure the comfort of the team members on handling the tools and software needed. • Maintain monthly metrics of OTD, quality and utilization for the respective business units as per the goals and objectives. • Plan for the timely completion of assigned projects with effective utilization of available resources. • Supervising the general discipline and code of conduct of the team members. • Ensure to adapt to Flowserve culture and meet the requirement of leadership and functional competencies

• Design pump layout for engineered pump as per International standards and codes used for rotating equipment design. • Complete ownership for assigned assignments • Work on multiple project engineering assignments • Work with internal customers and Flowserve engineers to develop and implement engineering standards/ procedures/ checklist/ learning points to minimize the errors for all types of assignments. • Providing instructions and directions to associate/design drafter and staff engineer (Coordinating/Assisting) • Prepare project plan/execution plan in accordance with customer requirements • Coordinating project engineering resources and directs activities in multiple assignments • Assist Supervisor for executing the request by coordinating with team members

· Creating all kind of manufacturing drawings (Casting, Forging, Pre-machining/Rough machining, fabrication and final machining) for standardized and engineered Pump products based on directions of immediate Supervisor or senior group member · Perform basic Pump engineering calculation like shaft deflection, bearing life calculation, pressure boundary evaluation of pump, structural integrity of baseplate based on need and directions of immediate Supervisor or senior group member · Create 3D pump components (including hydraulic components) used for pattern making and static/dynamic analysis based on directions of immediate Supervisor/Engineering analyst as per the business unit requirements. · Meeting project scheduled milestones for engineering deliverable (In communication with responsible business unit engineers)
