Rotki is an open source cryptocurrency portfolio tracker and finance app that respects your privacy. I'm responsible for designing and implementing new integrations (e.g. blockchains, DeFi protocols, exchanges) whilst maintaining and improving the existing backend in Python.

The goal was to implement an application for manipulating an Atomic Force Microscope (AFM) with an haptic device (PHANTOM Desktop). I designed and implemented an application that acquired and digitised the hardware data, modelled the close-loop control system, and had a GUI for controlling and fine-tuning the instruments and 3D imaging samples. It provided three operation modes: training (plot a sample from a dataset), exploration (plot the sample in real-time with safety measures), and nanomanipulation (like the exploration mode but with sample interaction).
