As CTO of a crypto trading platform, I led the journey from concept to a fully operational product generating $1m$ ARR within 12 months of launch. Starting with no existing code, architecture, or team, I personally built the initial prototype, assembled and led a team of elite engineers, and maintained ownership of the core backend systems while driving product development. The platform now supports transactions across 20+ blockchains with comprehensive payment options, robust KYC processes, and advanced fraud detection systems. Our technology's reliability and performance led to strategic integrations with the most popular Hedera and Ripple wallets, establishing our solution as a trusted infrastructure in the blockchain ecosystem.

As co-founder of a software/fintech consulting firm, I maintained an extremely hands-on role while architecting scalable systems for crypto and financial technology clients—personally shipping critical code changes throughout projects while leading high-performing development teams. I was heavily involved in recruitment to build exceptional technical talent and served as the bridge between business requirements and implementation, helping shape customers' product vision while delivering results on time and within budget. Beyond development, I established our company's technical standards, contributed to business growth through proposal writing and client presentations, and continuously evaluated emerging technologies to enhance client systems—maintaining deep technical engagement from conception through delivery.

- Designed and implemented from scratch a system for trading cryptocurrencies across a number of cryptocurrency exchanges. - Configured a complete workflow (code development, testing, and deployment) with GitLab, AWS, and Docker. - Developed tools for low latency real-time and historical data collection from multiple sources. - Contributed to CCXT: the biggest open-source crypto-currency exchange unification API. - Built a monitoring/alerting framework for the system. - Created an elastic, on-demand data-processing pipeline for captured market data. - Implemented a library for unified low-latency order management for multiple exchanges. - Built a graphical interface for monitoring and controlling trading strategies. - Created a high-performance strategy back-testing/optimization system with Cython. - Applied data analysis and machine learning techniques including reinforcement learning. - Designed and implemented a number of APIs and data processing pipelines which were heavily relied upon during live automated trading. - Debugged and fixed production-critical systems under severe time constraints. - Designed large SQL databases (terrabytes). - Carried out performance-tuning of various systems (JVM-based, Python, SQL). - Performed data analysis using Python (Pandas), SQL, and Scala. - Helped the team maintain a custom deployment system and the SQL server farm and file servers. - Developed a real-time, code coverage tracking tool for a multi-user environment with a feature to let engineers modify local state inside processes executing on a remote machine. The tool allowed the company to significantly simplify the process of testing hosted applications. - Extended a code-coverage tool, for which the source code was unavailable, via reverse engineering.
