Advised on high-value, cross-border transactions across Central and Eastern Europe, France, Germany, the USA, the UK, the Nordics, Türkiye, Ukraine, and Africa in the energy, infrastructure, tech, pharma, and finance sectors. Many of these deals—often valued in the billions—were among the largest foreign investments or divestitures by Czech companies at the time, with several recognized as the Deal of the Year by CEE Legal Matters in the respective countries. Responsible for deal structuring, negotiation, and drafting of key contracts, including acquisition agreements, shareholders’ agreements, supply and off-take agreements, commercial contracts, as well as EFET, ISDA, and FIDIC agreements. Experience includes acquisitions and divestitures of power plants, wind farms, energy distributors, mines, IT companies, and financial institutions; establishment of joint ventures; and project financings. Also advised on a wide range of complex commercial contracts, including EPC, supply, operation and maintenance, and service agreements for power plants—such as CCGTs, wind farms, and coal-fired plants—as well as procurement and implementation agreements for IT systems and enterprise software licenses. Clients included some of the largest Czech companies in the energy, pharmaceutical, and financial sectors.
