I sit at the intersection of energy infrastructure and finance, where capital allocation decisions shape how we build, power, and decarbonize the world. My path wasn't conventional. I started on drilling rigs and in laboratories, learning how energy systems actually work from the ground up. That operating experience became my edge when I moved into finance. I don't just model cash flows. I understand the assets, the engineering constraints, and the operational realities behind the numbers. Most finance professionals look at a project and see a spreadsheet. I look at a project and see the field conditions, the procurement risks, the engineering trade-offs, and then I build the financial architecture around that reality. That is what makes the difference between a model that looks good in a boardroom and one that actually holds up when steel hits the ground. I think in systems. I connect project economics to capital structure to cash conversion to strategic positioning. I find the value that gets buried between operating assumptions and accounting entries. And I build the tools and processes that let leadership see it clearly enough to act on it.
