Serving as Director at the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, I provide strategic leadership in the domains of IT governance, cybersecurity, and digital transformation. With over 15 years of experience across the Ministry of Electronics & IT, Defence, and the Indian Navy, I have led mission-critical initiatives at the intersection of national security and emerging technologies.Currently, I head the IT and Cybersecurity vertical, overseeing the planning, execution, and governance of large-scale, secure digital systems. My work has contributed to key Government of India initiatives, including nationwide digitization programs, blockchain enabled trust frameworks, secure information systems, and the Information Fusion Centre – Indian Ocean Region (IFC-IOR).I hold an M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur, with academic research in blockchain technologies, cybersecurity, cryptography, and formal verification, providing a strong technical foundation for informed executive decision making.My leadership experience includes operating in high stakes, time sensitive environments, driving outcomes through cross functional and globally distributed teams, and ensuring delivery within defined resources, governance frameworks, and policy constraints.I have also led turnkey national scale projects, including the establishment of data centres, cybersecurity laboratories, and secure government IT infrastructure, aligning technology execution with strategic and operational objectives.Known for a collaborative leadership style, I focus on building resilient teams, fostering trust across stakeholders, and translating complex technical challenges into actionable, strategic outcomes.Outside of my professional responsibilities, I am a certified combat diver with a strong interest in underwater diving.PS: The information shared above is kept generic in accordance with extant government policies.
