Presently working as Corporate General Manager with Symbiotec Pharmalab Limited . Associated with Ranbaxy, Sun Pharma, Jubilant Generics and Mylan Laboratories as an EHS Head. Have a good experience in implementation and management of EHS systems and certifications, designing systems in line with requirements like Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Initiatives and Ecovadis. Formation of EHS goals and management plans to help sustainable development, I have working experience in APIs production also which supports me in performing my job more effectively. Job nature includes : To advise the Management team in all aspects of Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) with a strong focus on building an interdependent safety culture within the organization and continuous work for achieving Zero Accident status at sites. To develop and drive initiatives for continual improvement in the EHS system. To prepare standards in line with the legal requirements, customers' requirements and be in touch with customers for compliance with their audit CAPAs. CAPA management i.e. derived from audits, risk assessments, incidents, IH program. Conducting gap analysis with respect to legal requirements and siteʼs status and ensuring completion of action points. To coordinate with customers for compliance of audit CAPAs and EHS developments. To maintain the sites for as per PSCI principles & ISO14001:2015 and ISO45001:2018.standards. To develop and maintain systems in order to get good score in ECOVADIS. To collaborate with the procurement team to ensure sustainable procurement. Routine responsibilities: Initiate, apply and maintain Workplace safety standards adhering to companyʼs Workplace Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) policies and local legislations. Practice and inculcate a safety culture for sites, educate employees on matters related to workplace safety. Develop a safety calendar that includes fire drills, office inspection, safety briefing, and related training etc. Drive Workplace safety behaviors by promoting employees' awareness and providing guidance on Workplace safety best practices Lead the team of Workplace Safety Committee in the company, define committees' responsibilities and report Workplace safety-related matters to the management team Report Workplace accidents or injuries, analyze causes and recommend corrective actions Support site EHS leads for smooth functioning of systems
