Hi I am Vivaan, here is a little about me:I am a prospective medical student who has resided in 5 countries and was brought up in Brazil. I am driven by a belief that the future of healthcare sits at the intersection of clinical compassion, community care, and intelligent technology.My experiences span both the bedside and the build phase of healthcare. In hospitals, I volunteer as a Night Sitter at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, supporting high fall-risk patients through overnight care, reassurance, and human presence when it matters most. In the community, I am part of NHG Health’s “Be Fit, Not Frail” initiative, conducting frailty screening for seniors, linking them to Active Ageing Centres, and supporting preventative health interventions that help seniors stay independent and engaged.Alongside clinical exposure, I have a strong foundation in AI, digital health, and product development. I am the co-founder of Cura, a health-tech venture focused on chronic disease management and recovery, which has been accepted into NYC’s YAC Season 6 startup programme and has secured $15,600 in funding. I am also co-founder of GroovX, an AI-enhanced community running platform integrating adaptive music to improve motivation and well-being, developed as a Finalist project of the Marine Parade Innovation Contest 2026.Through observerships at Singapore General Hospital and continuous engagement with clinicians, I am actively learning how real healthcare systems function — their strengths, constraints, and where thoughtful technology can meaningfully augment care rather than replace it.I aspire to become a forward-thinking doctor: one who is clinically grounded, technologically fluent, and deeply human : building systems that extend care beyond hospital walls while never losing sight of the individual behind the data.
