When you receive the Physical Therapy degree in Brazil, there are three classical professional paths. The first is to attempt public work, working for the Brazilian government. The second option is to be a researcher and work in a public or private institution. The third, which I chose, be an independent physical therapist, undertake in a private clinic and have my private in-patient (in my clinic) our out-patient (home care). During my career, I could start working from scratch several times, as was the case in Rio de Janeiro, building my clinic (PhysioRio) and from 2016 in São Paulo, as an independent Physical Therapist. It demonstrates my ability to build a network of patients and work in new places.

As an entrepreneur, he founded the Physio RIO clinic in the South Zone of Rio de Janeiro to individually serve patients with the most excellent care affection and based on current treatment guidelines. Our services focus on understanding the natural source of pain or disability and performing manual therapies like Mulligan and Osteopath concept to restore their function.

Through education, I believe I can help both my colleagues in their professional lives and my patients to progress faster.

Since December 2017, I have been a Professor of the post-graduate course "Master in Trauma-Orthopedic and Sports Physiotherapy" at the Institute of Post-Graduate Studies (IPOG). I gave theoretical and practical classes for physical therapists in Belém do Pará (PA), Montes Claros (MG), and Rio de Janeiro (RJ).

Responsible for physical therapy and osteopathic care at RELIV. Assessment, treatment, and evolution of private patients who come to see us. It's a multidisciplinary clinic led by six orthopedists.

As an independent Physical Therapist, I used CITARA's fantastic facility for my private clients.

Responsible for osteopathy and orthopedic rehabilitation care at the Life Square Clinic in the city of São Paulo, Brazil.

In December 2018, I spend half-day visiting the Seattle University Sports Medicine Department. Sara Pfau, Director of Sports Medicine, guide me for a tour and let me watch her working with the student-athletes. It was a very good experience, understanding how a Division I University works.

I attended as an onsite participant at the 11th Annual HSS Sports Medicine Symposium, at Hospital for Special Surgery. I was probably the one and only Brazilian PT there, and I had a lifetime opportunity to receive information about the most important orthopedic hospital in the United States. Also, I've made the Optional Instructional Courses - Clinical Examination of the Athlete's Hip.

The Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) is a federal university in Brazil and a center of excellence in teaching and research in the country and in Latin America, ranking among the best in the world. In 2021 the QS World University Rankings ranked UFRJ as the best Brazilian federal university, as well as the third best university in the country, fifth among Latin American institutions. I had the pleasure to be one of this institution, from 2007 until 2011, and I could develop a generic approach studying all the subjects and specialties, from my professional. But as I said previously I choose Physical Therapy to become an Orthopedic and Manual Physical Therapist.
