Vito Papapicco

As a Robotics Engineer with a PhD in BioRobotics and AI skills, I am passionate about creating human-centered technologies that improve quality of life. I have a strong background in software development, machine learning, and control of mechatronic systems, which I apply to design and develop innovative solutions. Currently, I work as an R&D Engineer at Soundsafe Care, a medtech startup that dreams of non-invasive surgery using focused ultrasounds directed by robots. I work on the design of complex mechatronic medical devices. I also define and validate technical requirements for the industrialization of prototypical devices, and ensure compliance with validation, certification regulations, and technical documentation standards. Additionally, I teach human-robot interaction for business schools and companies, sharing my knowledge and experience with other professionals and learners.
