Development and optimization of the protocol for the molecular diagnostics of Helicobacter pylori in simulated gastric fluid presence using qPCR in combination with molecular beacons -Designed primers for sets of various PCR to detect the different strains of the bacteria using bioinformatics databases and other bioinformatics tools tools -Optimized existing protocol for H.pylori detection using qPCR -Integrated molecular beacons in the qPCR to increase the sensitivity of the test to the small concentration of bacteria DNA -Presented the final results to clients in Ottawa -Maintained proper records for potential future optimization
