Actively participated in the new-building phase of the 22K LCO₂ carrier, contributing to the commissioning, inspection, and performance verification of the LCO₂ reliquefaction and cargo handling systems. Ensured safe, efficient, and compliant plant operation throughout the harbor acceptance, sea, and gas trials, while coordinating closely with shipyard teams, equipment vendors, and classification society representatives to achieve seamless system integration and delivery readiness. Involved in equipment testing, inspection, and final acceptance by Classification as part of the owner’s site supervision team.

• Led multiple dry-dock projects — full technical planning, liquid-free preparation, and post-dry-dock recommissioning with inerting, gassing-up, cooldown, and heel loading at STS underway during the first cargo loading. • Managed complete cargo operations — loading, discharging, and cargo-to-cargo manifold blending — with precise temperature control and cargo reheating to ensure product compatibility and safe transfer conditions. • Coordinated multiple STS operations as Loading Master, both underway and at anchor, ensuring safe mooring, precise manifold alignment, and efficient cargo transfer execution. • Ensured readiness for ATL, SIRE 2.0, CDI, and USCG inspections, as well as class and ISM audits, through proactive documentation, procedural compliance, and crew preparation. • Operated and optimized reliquefaction cargo compressors, heaters, and vaporizers, maintaining maximum efficiency of cargo plant systems. • Served as Safety Officer, implementing SMS/PMS programs, leading drills, and mentoring new Marine Control Room Operators (MCRO) for safe and compliant operations.

• Led multiple dry-dock projects (5-year surveys, vessel extensions, and class changes) with full technical and stability oversight. • Managed post-dry-dock recommissioning including inerting, gassing-up, cooldown, and first cargo loading. • Coordinated 35+ STS operations as Loading Master — both underway and at anchor — ensuring safe transfer execution. • Directed LPG cargo operations (propane/butane), including LPG changeovers, reliquefaction, and compressor optimization. • Ensured readiness for SIRE/CDI, ISM, ISPS, and class audits through proactive safety and documentation management. • Acted as Safety Officer, leading SMS/PMS compliance and mentoring new Marine Control Room Operators (MCRO).

Career Transition: Initially served on PCTC (Vehicle Carriers), transitioning in 2019 to the role of Second Officer aboard a 105,000 DWT Oil Tanker. Managed safe navigation and cargo operations, adapting to new responsibilities with a focus on operational efficiency and safety. Enhanced Operational Experience: Gained significant experience in specialized maritime operations, including STS, SPM, and Tandem Mooring, primarily operating in the challenging maritime environments of West Africa. Transition to LPG-VLGC Carriers: Later transitioned to LPG-VLGC carriers, expanding expertise in gas cargo management and operations, further diversifying operational capabilities and enhancing adaptability in the maritime sector.
