• Provide day-to-day technical support to operations and maintenance of electrical equipment like EHV GIS/AIS Switchgear, Power Transformers, large synchronous/induction motors, HV/LV Switchgears and Control gears, EHV/HV/LV Cables, Bus ducts, UPS, Battery Charger, NGR and Panel boards. • Lead electrical equipment failures and trips investigation and produce the associated reports • Updating and maintaining quality records and IMS (ISO90001, ISO 140001 and ISO 450001) pertaining to Electrical Department. • Responsible for the execution of pre-planned and annual shutdown maintenance activities. • Procurement of materials/equipment by preparing detailed purchase requisitions in TALLY/SAP and within specific time frame under allotted budget. • Preparing technical datasheets and contracts as per company work policy, reviewing technical bids and inviting tenders from vendors for AMC and other services inside factory. • Experience in preparation of Single line diagrams, protection and metering schemes, motor schematics, Hazardous area classification drawings, substation automation architecture, synchronizing and bus changeover schemes.

• Conducted scheduled inspections with a high level of accuracy and efficiency. • Provided assistance in material set up in SAP such as processing notifications and codes. • Kept QA and Production databases accurate and up to date by inputting appropriate records promptly. • Resolved quality-related issues promptly, supporting swift corrective and preventative actions. • Validated test methods, confirming compliance with applicable standards.

• Cooperate diligently with technicians while they perform day today preventive maintenance of electrical equipment at yard and plant areas.
