During my service tenure at Coal India Ltd my department was a mechanical engineering based and I gained experience in looking after maintenance and repair of Heavy earth moving machines, its periodical maintenance, preventive maintenance, annual planned maintenance and repair works. Man management and spare parts management played a vital role in achieving the target goal giving due regard to safety and environment aspects. My main strength has been my positive approach and good team building nature which enables me to achieve even the most difficult of targets. I believe no battle can be one alone and it is the army which does so, likewise in the work field targets cannot be achieved on ones own head but it is a good team headed by a capable leader/captain which make any target achievable.

I was promoted to General Manager in the Excavation department in January 2014. I was posted as Technical head of Kakri Project with annual Coal Target of 2.5 Million Tonne from June 2014 to April 2015 and as Technical Head at Jayant Project a Mega Project with annual Coal target of 14 Million Tonne from May 2015 till October 2017. From October 2017 till my retirement I was posted at NCL HQ in the Excavation Department.

I have been working in Coal India Limited since April 1980 till date. From 1980 to 2008 I was in BCCL and after that till date at NCL, Singrauli. I joined as Junior Engineer Trainee and presently I am in the post of General manager in Excavation department. My present job is an administrative post providing technical guidance and managerial support for maintaining the Heavy Earth Moving Machinery. Man and material management being a vital part of my job.
