Final course work (TCC): • Determination of hydraulic parameters in a rockfill dike from a reduced model • Advisor: Prof. Aloysio Portugal Maia Saliba, PhD • Objective: Perform analysis of hydraulic parameters of flow and percolation for overclimbing rockfill dykes, based on theoretical formulation and validation in experiments carried out with a reduced physical model at the Center for Research and Water Resources (CPH) at UFMG. Scientific research: Rural Sanitation • Participation in studies, fieldwork (Acre and Pará) and preparation of reports that supported the National Rural Sanitation Program (PNSR), a partnership between UFMG and the National Health Foundation (FUNASA). • Participation in a national seminar and workshop. • Duration: 08/2015 - 12/2016

Scientific research: • Title: Methodology for calculating technical and commercial losses in electricity distribution networks. • The work consisted of: bibliographic survey related to technical and commercial losses in electric energy networks; implementation of a code for calculating power flow, based on a small IEEE model network, developed in MATLAB software. • Duration: 6 months.
