•Responsible for should costing of electrical commodity (Cables, Transformer, Control Panel etc), and sheet metal/fabrication parts to identify cost-saving opportunities. •Identify and implement cost-out opportunities across the value chain to optimize the cost. •Carrying should cost analysis, developing cost models and supporting global sourcing leads for contract negotiations. •Identifying and developing alternate suppliers for electrical and electronic commodities.

Category buyer for Electrical & Electronic parts, Die-castings and C Class items. Driving Supply Chain function to optimize cost, quality and delivery. Working with global category buyers and global suppliers to drive and implement global strategy in India. Responsible for identifying and qualifying new suppliers including supplier assessment. Handling RFQs, leading negotiations for price list finalization and other advantageous terms & conditions. Generating cost saving ideas through resourcing, localization, design change etc.

Ressponsible for project sourcing and supply chain activities of die-castings, electrical commodity and surface treatment (silver plating, painting etc). Experience in RFQs, quotation analysis from various suppliers and leading negotiations for price finalization, delivery etc. Responsible for PO processing & approval, material follow up and ensure on time receipt of material until payment to suppliers. Key member in developing Die-casting parts (70 parts) and handled suppliers all over India. Experience in procurement of current transformers, cables, switching & control equipment.

Supervision of Transformer production upto 420kV Class. Organizing daily work at shop floor. Preparing and implementing action plans like KAIZEN to improve production efficiency. Power Transformer Testing according to IS and IEC Standard. Documentation for ISO Audit.
