- Designed test actuators, gearboxes, and direct drive motors for design validation of new gearbox and bearing geometry using Onshape - Created drawings and ordered high precision actuator parts, including GD&T controls - Prototyped, built, and iterated based on failures cycle test setups for clockspring internal wiring solutions to be used in new actuator versions - Designed, iterated, and optimized a high strength structural component for a humanoid robotic arm experiencing extremely high dynamic forces - Tested, compared and improved multiple transmission methods for actuator remoting for stiffness and backlash, including belt, chain, and four-bar linkage
