Modeling and design of a system level temperature control array hardware and control system for emerging technologies in the semiconductor system level test industry. Control system design of multi-head, 2-phase thermal head array for chip testing. Component and system level mechanical design of an automated thermal system level test machine.

Supported mechanical engineering roles and responsibilities within Viasat Space & Commercial systems programs. Experience in Solidworks, Creo, and Solidedge for creating CAD models and drawings for machined fab parts, assemblies, and printed wiring assemblies (PWA). Experience in ANSYS AND NASTRAN Femap for finite element analysis (FEA) for thermal (in vacuum and atmospheric environments) and structural (static and dynamic environments). Experience in mechanical support for space vehicle integration and testing (SV I&T) as well as design and implementation of mechanical ground support equipment (MGSE). Experience running and maintaining additive manufacturing facilities for Viasat Tempe location.

Engineering and optimizing manufacturing processes for satellite communication components. Assisting with program material management and creating kits for assembly. Drafting, editing, and tracking assembly documentation. Monitoring assembly kits through various phases of the manufacturing process. Participating in material review boards for part failures.

Designed, fabricated, and tested a thermally insulated chamber for testing ON Semiconductor parts under military standards. Designed, fabricated, and tested several constant current power supplies. Assisted engineers with thermal characterizations of ON Semiconductor parts.

Assisted engineers with failure analyses by chemically, removing mold compound from ONSemi parts. Executed ingress tests for detecting cracks and irregularities in IC packaging. Executed reliability experiments ONSemi parts.

Built a dynamic Quality documentation monitoring system in MS Excel for tracking of Quality policies, processes, and procedures and to notify managers of impending review deadlines.
