 Raises Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders through SAP.  Creates new material master in SAP, amends material master to optimise materials stock levels.  Develops and revises procurement and material management process to improve goods purchasing, issuance, receipting and transfers.  Monitors stock levels to ensure there is no production delays or stoppages.  Coaching warehouse and operation workers to resolve issues with materials inventory and deliveries.  Work closely with the operations and maintenance managers to be able to understand and scope details of procurement requirements.  Negotiates with suppliers the price, quality, delivery lead time and expectations of goods and services to be procured.  Review and evaluates new and existing materials and service contracts.  Liaises with the suppliers and accounts team for issues with invoices.
