Hetitec Oy is a high-tech foundry specialized in flexible production of prototypes, spare-parts and small series. The primary benefit: significant time and cost advantages by using 3D-printing of sand molds without the need of traditional pattern equipment. We have our own in house foundry for various iron, steel and aluminum alloys. Our international customers appreciate the expert service we offer for cast products, individual consulting and efficient project management - especially when they have no foundry of their own. Every casting we deliver to our customers is designed with best possible casting simulation software on the market to avoid casting defects and to ensure the high quality of our castings. We also provide casting simulation services to our customers. Hetitec is also providing 3D-printing services for sand-casting moulds and cores, directly from CAD-data. The ability to buy/manufacture castings without expensive casting-pattern costs gives our customers significant savings in costs and often reduces time-to-market considerably. I started my career at voxeljet as a project engineer and i was responsible for the layouts of voxeljet's new production facilities in Friedberg (Bavaria, Germany). After that project was done, i continued to work in the production development as an assistant production manager. Later on i worked as the manager of the plastic services department and i was also responsible for the Scandinavian clients of voxeljet. I enjoyed my time at voxeljet and the company gave me excellent opportunities to further develop my skills in my favorite fields of engineering: Rapid Prototyping & Production Development.
