Glencore Energy LTD are an established commodities marketing company with a significant market share in Oil and an evolving Power and Gas business. As head of Front office I support the Technology needs of the Trade Analysts, Data Scientists and Risk Quants, having modernised the tech stack and delivery model, moved all new front office delivery to the cloud, implemented a new Azure based data-lakehouse for large scale data analytics and refreshed flagship in house applications.

Zedosh are building the new normal in digital marketing. Giving control back to the savvy consumer of advertising. I supported Zedosh accross many aspects of business and technical strategy.

Perenna are disrupting the mortgage and banking sector by bringing 30 year fixed rate mortgages to the market. As interim CTO my role was to define technology strategy, support Perenna’s application (Now granted) for a banking license, define the architectural blueprint, select a partner and define an initial plan to implement an end to end banking infrastructure.

Lab49 are a leading consultancy in financial markets with strong and differentiated provenance in Digital Transformation. As head of EMEA my responsibilities included business development, delivery, business management, putting in place frameworks for high performance, client management, service definition, consulting and oversight.

VAKT was the first enterprose blockchain solution in the commodities market. The platform applies blockchain concepts and technology to solve post trade problems in the Oli and Gas industry. As CTO I was Responsible for taking VAKT from startup through MVP to scale up. Setting technical direction, solving complex technical problems, working with partners, clients, board level staholders from Energy Majors, building a high performing development team locally and nearshore, and taking the initial product live in the first market.

Transforming the Luxoft pre-sales organisation; Building an operating model and department to support incoming deal and bid flow, provide commercial, operational and solutions support, and form the bridge between sales and delivery

Responsible for strategic growth, and the development of new business lines, specifically in relation to vendor platforms in the Capital Markets, Core Banking and Insurance sectors. My role was to Identify, qualify, incubate, acquire and transition new businesses in to operational businesses with a strong growth trajectory.

Excelian is a recognised market leader in financial systems package integration, consultancy and advisory with a strong focus on Murex services and growing Calypso and Openlink offerings. I oversee the strategy, business and operation of the Package solution consulting practice within Excelian. In 2015 Excelian was acquired by Luxoft, and the role expanded to include Openlink services.

Excelian are now in a strong position as a provider of specialist consultancy services to the Finance Industry. The technical consulting division continues to grow and expand its service offerings, including Low latency, CEP, Analytics, and bespoke development alongside its core HPC, Caching and Grid services. I continue to oversee the growth and strategy of this division whilst taking on a larger role in the company and focussing on oversight of specific key accounts.

Excelian is a best of breed technology consultancy to the finance industry. They have an existing grid practice and partnerships with major grid, caching and low latency technology vendors. My role is to grow excelian as the centre of excellence in grid, HPC and technical computing servicing the finance industry, through consultancy engagements, strategic vendor partnerships and contribution to the industry.

Project and program manager initially in reference data and then in a strategic decommissining program.

Developed back end processes for market and static data imports in Sybase, ksh, Perl and C. Built front ends for data management in Delphi and Visual Basic 6. Took over the management of the development team of 6 people.
