About
I’m a senior Aerospace Engineering student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, passionate about applying my knowledge to solve complex problems at the intersection of software and hardware. I thrive in environments where I can learn quickly, own my projects, and drive solutions from concept to execution. I specialize in embedded systems, robotics, and control systems, with hands-on experience developing real-time algorithms that have a direct physical impact. I’ve worked on flight software for NASA and DoD spacecraft, and my research at UIUC's Composite Additive Manufacturing Lab involves real-time analysis and control of material properties for continuous carbon fiber 3D printers with the goal of improving the strength and quality of printed structures. Additionally, I’ve developed several robotic perception, VSLAM, and real-time obstacle avoidance algorithms through my projects. I love quick-on-my-feet problem-solving and innovation. I’m particularly interested in roles that challenge me to innovate at the cutting edge of aerospace, robotics, and advanced manufacturing.

Embedded Software Enineering Intern
Boulder, Colorado, United States
- Developed real-time spacecraft flight software in Ada, including GPS interface and payload management. - Managed the creation of portable Python executables for space-constrained systems, achieving a 53% reduction in file size. - Collaborated with avionics team to integrate and test software on flight hardware running Linux and VxWorks.

- Designed and built a quadcopter drone platform using an Nvidia Jetson Nano with a plug-and-play architecture to enable easy testing of multi-agent motion planning algorithms, and assisted other PhD students in integrating their algorithms - Utilized ROS to create a modular base application that communicates with a PX4 flight computer using the MAVROS package and receives telemetry and position data via Vicon SDK and a custom C++ ROS node. - Modeled and 3D printed drone components such as the housing for the Jetson Nano

- Spearheaded a project to insource FANUC industrial robot programming and simulation to adhere to tighter manufacturing targets in current battery manufacturing lines, and mock-up and validate future EV plants - Learned Alteryx data analytics software, developed a tool to remove inconsistent and conflicting data reported from factory systems, and coordinated with team members to develop a tool that seamlessly integrated with existing workflow.
