• Developing, planning and implementing a robust business plan (machine / manpower / finance) in consultation with the Senior Leadership team. Reviewing and maintaining optimal organizational structure, hierarchy and headcount to balance workload as well as budgets. • Providing leadership to the entire operations team such that all key stakeholders involved in development, production and dispatch range of products, thrive in a highly motivated & high performing environment. • Identifying and driving strategic initiatives to improve productivity / process & on time performance by benchmarking industry practices. • Tracking, reviewing and monitoring key business performance indicators regularly and implement cost effective strategies as required to sustain and grow the business. Target +85 OEE. Monitoring budgets / costs / expenses viz-a-viz plan and suggest mechanisms to control them. • Ensuring that operations are carried out in a safe and conducive environment by following guidelines laid down by health & safety institutions and by adopting best practices. Ensuring that workplace harmony is maintained at all times by working in collaboration with all key stakeholders (internal / external).

• Handled and coordinated day to day quality related communications with customers (of all product groups) like VW India, Audi Germany, Renault Chennai, Ducati Italy etc. Ensured implementation of Customer Specific requirements for existing & potential customers including initiation and effectiveness monitoring of CAPA on customer complaints / feedbacks. • Responsible for all Quality Functions inside the plant like Incoming, In process, Final Inspection, Standard Room & QA and NPD Budget control activities etc. • Responsible for controlling and Managing all the New Product Development Activities for domestic and Export Customers. Responsible for timely, Qualify confirmed and Cost effective development of new parts for Domestic and Export customers. • Accountable for new part testing, submissions and getting approval in the form of 2DP and PSW approvals from respective customers. Looked after Plant Operations independently for Six Months in 2014.

• Ensured compliance & Maintenance of ISO/TS 16949:2009 certification. Involved in establishing and implementing integrated Management System (ISO14001:2004 & OHSAS 18001:2007) in Vehicle & Engine units. • Co- ordinating Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing (Piaggio Production System), Problem Solving, Quality Circles and CFT based quality improvements projects throughout the supply chain. • Conducted trainings on Systems (QMS, EMS, OHSMS) and Quality tools like (APQP, PFMEA, PPAP, SPC, MSA, 7 QC Tools, DOE, 5S, Kaizen, quality circles) for Plant and Suppliers. • Responsible for Building & improving quality culture by celebrating Quality Month and Quality Improvement Projects competition across the plants. • Established and maintained company wide process documentation system to promote standard work and process integrity. Ensured end-to-end application of Lean and Quality principles and practices; from New Product Development to Service and Support.
