Project: British Telecom About the project: FlowStream is a mid tier system that is used for provisioning of telecom products (e.g. Broadband, PSTN, VoIP, LLU for BT and communicates with various backend systems and applications, each of which does its own bit of activity in the provisioning cycle. It aims at automation of order handling. Integrated package of multiple components –deigned to work together. Components include FLOWSequence, FLOWExecute, FLOWManage, FLOWMonitor and other applications. Roles & Responsibilities: Build and Deployment • Deployment of single, bulk releases on different test and production Environments. Release Build and version control using Subversion • Timely delivery of Project Deliverables within the agreed SLA’s • Confident deploying all major Flow releases on production environment within scheduled outage window. • Prepare the document with deployment instruction for releases the patches on testing & live environment. • Raising the CR and rescheduling/modifying CRs using clarify client tool. • Setting up required documentation and maintain them for easy access. • Analysis of any problems that are reported on the team and handle them appropriately. • Building up a very strong customer support and communication Structure.
