Planned and organized preventive and breakdown maintenance systems and recorded them in the ERP system for Caterpillar and Epiroc Underground Equipment. Monitored the condition of equipment and machinery using various condition-monitoring techniques, including oil sampling, data telematics solutions, and thickness measurement. Prepared detailed reports on complete preventive maintenance and provided recommendations for improving equipment efficiency and ensuring continuous operation. Negotiated after-sales service contracts to secure favorable terms, ensuring ongoing support and maintenance.

Contributed to commissioning India’s first electric vehicle (battery-operated heavy equipment) in the underground mine at Sindesar Khurd Mine. Prepared annual operating budgets for spare parts, ground engagement teeth, tires, lubricants, batteries, consumables, and tools, and forecasted and ordered spare parts for stock replenishment. Generated financial reports on the costs associated with maintenance and repair, finding a balance between price and efficiency, and offered suggestions for cost reduction. Recommended strategies for enhancing workshop and equipment efficiency, reducing unplanned downtime, and implementing modern techniques for performance improvement, such as fault detection technologies. Procured heavy equipment in compliance with the Directorate General of Mines Safety guidelines, ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

Collaborated with a team to establish a Comprehensive Maintenance Contract for M/S Gainwell, the dealer for Caterpillar Equipment at Sindesar Khurd Mines, HZL. Ensured that maintenance and repair activities complied with the Directorate General of Mines Safety regulations and that all equipment met safety and quality standards. Supervised technicians and workers, defining roles and responsibilities based on individual expertise and technical capabilities.
