• Creation of new products and definition of systems architecture, preliminary design and specifications. • Technical management of the company’s main programs, assuring fulfillment of requirements. • Strategic technology research based on company´s strategic plan and product line road maps. Managed engineering teams to develop the design for the company’s portfolio, including Cruise Missiles, C4I Systems, Cyber Security Defense Centers, UAVs, Image Intelligence Systems, Air Defense Systems, among others. • Engineering management, both in the pre-sales and program development phases for Unmanned Air Vehicle Systems and Optronics Systems Integration. Led the conceptual design of a MALE UAV, together with an Open Architecture Mission Software.

• Responsible for product strategy and product architecture definition for new business. • Responsible for product evolution plan for Embraer Defense and Security products. • Responsible for partnership strategy development for new business.

• Responsible for product development projects for the Defense Market, including project planning, structuring, implementation and coordination. • Responsible for integrated technical proposals based on project planning and structure with focus on the development of solutions for new requirements, building basis for new business with new customers. Technical head or participant of the main Embraer Super Tucano bid proposals and developments from 2000 to 2011, resulting in US$ 2.3 billion in sales, more than 1.9 million man-hours of product development and more than 1.800 Flight Hours of Systems tests. Defined and implemented the Super Tucano Export version product strategy that created a modularity in both hardware and software and resulted in reuse of design and 80% engineering non-recurring cost reduction for new customers. Acted as a technical leader on Embraer’s proposal of the Super Tucano for the LAS Program, that led to the first Embraer’s successful contract award with the US DoD.
