I make connections with our customers and make sales. I've gotten rather good at talking with customers and figuring out what they would like. I also make suggestions based on their preferences and our sales. I help with the overall look of the store and with putting up the new marketing.

In connection with Digital People I was a temporary Production Artist at Prisma International in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I transformed scanned letters into editable documents through a program called ABBEYY. I also QC'd documents for translation as well as the translated documents before they were sent through Word. It was a very positive office space and was a team-oriented environment.

I helped with designing ads for their clients and I did some page layouts for the newspapers. I put some illustrations out there for the Super Bowl edition of the Southwest Journal, and some for the Camp Issue of one of their magazines, Minnesota Parent. I did a bit of illustrating in some of the ads too. I participated in their press meetings and learned some terminology in publishing. I followed their guidelines and learned how to use their in-office Filemaker program. I also learned some new Adobe tricks!

I made treats and had customer relations.

I get indexing jobs for Prisma International through ABBEYY and do them with a client laptop at home. I mark the Client Name, Client ID and Template ID. from the scanned. I then verify the letters by checking out and correcting what ABBEYY identified from the scanned document. This is part of the process for turning the scanned document into an editable document for the translators.
