Part of Disney Channels' busy press office team supporting PR and internal communications for two of Disney's leading media platforms, Disney Channel and Disney Cinemagic. Reporting into the Communications Manager I held responsibility for media relations and the delivery of press office campaigns in the UK across a range of long and short lead media including nationals, consumer, broadcast and digital press. Carried out end-to-end delivery of publicity campaigns and events for award winning Disney television shows such as ‘Shake It Up’, ‘Good Luck Charlie’ and ‘Jessie’ as well as the TV premiere of ‘Cars 2’ and ‘Tangled’. This included the facilitation of press junkets with key UK consumer and national press, organisation of guest appearances on radio and TV shows such as BBC's Blue Peter and Friday Download, Channel 4's T4 and Sky News.
