I had numerous responsibilities however, my main roles were to organise rosters and send them out to the staff, order stock, complete stocktake and ensure shifts ran smoothly. I also had to ensure staff jobs were delegated effectively and fairly. I was 2IC whilst we had no manager at our store and were in search for a suitable, full-time candidate. When an appropriate Manager was found, I continued with my Senior Retail role. My main role as Senior retail was to work effectively, direct and assist the junior retail member. I opened and closed the store, conducted till reconciliation, conducted bookkeeping, did the banking & served all customers to the best of my ability with enthusiasm. I also broadened my role with the store and became a baker (finisher), which means I prepared all the product and goods for the store from 5am- 7.30am unsupervised.
