Victor Gonzalez-Diaz, Ed.D.

EDUCATION IS POWER! For the first 10 years of my career in education, I worked in roles with a direct impact on students, families, and communities. As a teacher, I partnered with families to help students grow. As an instructional coach and administrator, I helped teachers develop an equity-centered vision for their classrooms. At this stage in my education career, my hope is to scale my impact to reach more students, families, and communities. Currently, I research, design, pilot, and evaluate culturally and linguistically responsive curricula and professional development. I support district leaders and teachers so that they can support their students. Forever a learner, I am also a graduate student! I am currently conducting a study about the experiences of educators who used to work in school-based roles and now work in edtech. My goal is to answer the question: "What can individual teachers, district leaders, and edtech companies learn from the expereinces of educators in edtech." I am not sure where my education journey will take me next, but I know that it will be in role where I can continue to learn and grow my impact.
