Within a year, transformed a practice which was underperforming by 30% compared to budget model to outperforming budget by >10%.

Responsibilities included management and oversight of the health department’s healthcare centers and associated centralized support services including centralized patient scheduling, call center, financial eligibility and front desk operations; implementation and management of strategic mission & goals; budgetary planning, monitoring and management; business plan development; facility and inventory management; policy development & execution; customer satisfaction; quality assurance, purchase approvals; staff recruitment, training and performance management; contract compliance. Developed, produced and implemented the Health Center Business Operations Manual which comprehensively detailed and standardized medical practice business operations throughout the Duval County Health Department clinic network.
