Senior Application Coordinator, HealthConnect Ambulatory Build Team 3/05 – present Build pathology order components in Epic that interface with the CoPathPlus ancillary system. Participate in end to end testing by submitting and receiving pathology orders between applications. Monitor HL7 incoming and outgoing messages using Bridges. Build Best Practice Alerts to aid in reaching Hedis, Medicare Stars and Meaningful Use goals. Configure Reporting Workbench reports that daily track pathology specimens from Northern California OB/GYN clinics that are destined for the Regional laboratory. Regional laboratory staff can access saved reports if specimens arrive without paperwork. Test and implement custom code and lpps that provide bar code element in reports. Create reports, extracts and imports using Chronicles, MS Access and MS Excel. Participate in data remediation efforts with Epic staff to cleanse data in patient's chart.

Assess and analyze the technical security of business-owned databases for adherence to HIPAA federal regulations. Interview medical personnel, estimate remediation costs for databases, and advise of assessment results. Conduct walkthroughs with medical personnel to document user roles on databases recommended for remediation. Evaluate information to determine future access levels for users in newly secured databases. Test remediated databases before rollout to users. Train users on new screens and functions. Provide onsite support during implementation of production databases. Extensive interaction with medical personnel including doctors during user acceptance testing of remediated databases. Act as liaison between users and outsourcing agency.
