Vicki Goodman

Every day is an opportunity to advance science, deliver innovation and improve outcomes for patients with cancer. What inspires me to show up for work is the opportunity to collaborate with incredibly intelligent and motivated individuals with similar goals. Together, we tackle some of the greatest challenges in cancer research, such as understanding why cancer cells become resistant to some approaches but respond to others and using that knowledge to develop the tools needed to fight cancer and improve outcomes. At Merck, I strive to create an environment where each team member has the space and support to grow, having been given the same opportunity within my previous roles at BMS, GSK and the FDA. I aim to foster a workplace that encourages others to reach their full potential while supporting their diverse talents.
