• Handles parts localization planning and development (APQP, Prod'n Prep'n Plan , PPAP, etc.) • Conducts new supplier accreditation and annual quality process audit • Material and Suppliers manufacturing process review • Performs Process Verification "PV" to supplier prior commencing to pre-production trial • Parts tooling, jigs and dies supply/fabrication sourcing • Engage in cost reduction activities (e.g. VA/VE, Re-sourcing, etc.) • Coordination and review for specification change (EDR/ECR) • Supplier audit, assistance on problematic parts follow-up • Performs same function as buyer to support Materials and Services section

OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT Purchasing Department Materials and Services Procurement Section Main Duties: 1. Handles sourcing of various suppliers in accordance with request and specification of end-user through Purchase Requisition and TPN. 2. Engage on bidding activities for different project requirements (general eng'g / general building / IT requirements). 3. Prepares Quotation Analysis based on supplier’s quotation and prepare Purchase Order. 4. Coordinates with suppliers regarding delivery and rejection of items. 5. Facilitates testing of sample submitted by suppliers. 6. Monitors material delivery / rejection and extend assistance (as required) to identify causes of rejections; necessary corrections; follow-up immediate replacement of defective materials (with critical / urgent requirement). 7. Coordinates with requesting department for assistance in supplier’s delivery problems, delayed deliveries that affect or could affect continuous plant production operation. 8. Monitors Material Price Trend.

OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT Purchasing Department Cost Control and Planning Section MAIN DUTIES: 1. Monitors Material Cost trend intended for cost estimate, and negotiation. 2. Generates monthly suppliers business quantity (Total Supplied Parts). 2. Conducts Cost Analysis on local supplied parts and recommends item/s for Cost Reduction. 3. Assists in cost negotiation on purchased material / parts/ services via cost data analysis results. 4. Coordinates with Assembly and Parts Engineering for drawing classifications, specifications for parts localization activities. 5. Conducts cost detail analysis by making computations based on current cost of materials, labor, and other overhead expenses. Recommends vendor from who to purchase based on Cost, Quality and Delivery.
