Interned under Adv. Vishal Jaju, who is the founder of Jurist Chambers, a distinguished litigation-based law firm based in the city of Navi Mumbai. - This experience gave me invaluable exposure for researching various matters related to Sections 138 and 141 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, Order 41 Rule 27 of the Civil Procedure Code, MahaRERA rules, divorce, domestic violence, and various property matters. - I also learnt the filing of various types of documents which are to be submitted during court procedures and the process of e-filing. - I learnt how to speak in front of a judge with the intention of obtaining a different date for a case, "keep back" the matter for the day, where the affirmations are done, where the official court seal is provided, what e-filing is, how to navigate the e-courts website, how to draft an application for adjournment, application for substitution, what is an amended complaint, what is a bailable warrant, what is a non-bailable warrant, what is an authority letter, who sits besides the judge, and know the facts and arguments of various civil and criminal matters.

My responsibilities as an Intern under Hamari Pahchan NGO included raising funds for social causes, such as the UDYAM: STREET VENDORS project, by empowering indigenously crafted products through financial support. I also drafted legal documents and analyzed cases, created legal reels, posters, and social media posts. By completing such tasks, I realised the social responsibilities and the encroachment of legal rights on street vendors and other strata of society, and how we can tackle these issues through various non-governmental platforms to raise their voice and protect their rights.
