- Executes and ensures the success of trial (new product introduction) and troubleshooting. - Follows up development of applications and relevant processing technologies of the customers. - Initiates new article registration in compliance with formulation change process and BOM (Bill of Material). - Aligns the resources with local sales needs to achieve trial and troubleshooting requests timely.

- Lead new product development and innovation projects for footwear brands: Nike, Adidas, Puma, New Balance, Mizuno, …… - Evaluated and tested product ability on shoe-part mid-, in-, and outsole materials: EVA, nylon, rubber, PU, TPU, leather... - Provides technical service, troubleshooting, and new application & new product development for customers. - Design chemical processes and execute related issues for footwear manufactories: Pou Chen Group, Dean Shoes, Feng Tay Group... - Manage lab operation, and maintain 5S standards including chemicals & materials testing, and chemical preparation. - Collects market information (competitors, customers, regulations, processing technologies & trends, etc.). Documents and proposes ideas for research & development proposal - Coordinate with the Production Dept, and QC Dept to ensure consistently high-quality, TDS/SDS/labels and products comply with the legal requirements of brands and destination markets.

- Research and development of new non-metallic catalyst variants. - Mentors and assists the research graduate students in the research group.

- To report to Section Manager - Monitor & manage equipment of R&D department. - To coordinate with Suppliers for required material/chemical and conduct the experiment to evaluate their usability. - To research and develop new products (W/B & S/B UV primer, W/B & S/B non-ultraviolet primer: bonding performance, anti-hydrolysis, anti-yellowing, cost down......). - To research and develop new products (focus on W/B & S/B PU adhesive: anti-hydrolysis/ improve heat-resistant W/B products, W/B & S/B CR adhesive). - To support Tech team, QC, and Sales team (preparing chemicals, troubleshooting, and quality issues).

Main responsibilities - Project Assistant. - Research and develop a new generation of solvent-based, water-based ultraviolet primer (VOC-reduce, hydrolysis resistance, anti-yellowing, cost-down, RSL). - Adjust and redesign the formula based on existing formulas to make better products. - Supports Tech. team, QC, Sales regarding troubleshooting, quality issues about adhesives, and polymer.
