Project Title : “Study on Racks, Roller Conveyors and Sheet Metal Boxes” Steel storage racks must be designed and put together according to the manufacturer’s requirements or the requirements of a professional engineer. Racks and frames used outdoors to store materials, equipment, machines or tools should be designed, put together and maintained to support loads placed on them including wind, wind gusts and other environmental conditions. Roller conveyors are utilized for a number of industrial functions. They are defined according to how the conveyor rollers are powered. The kinds of roller conveyors are gravity roller conveyors, belt-driven live roller conveyors, chain-driven roller conveyors, line shaft roller conveyors, along with zero pressure conveyors. Each kind will be expressly intended for loads of specific weight, sizes and shape. Sheet metal is a metal formed into thin and flat pieces. It is one of the fundamental forms used in metalworking, and can be cut and bent into a variety of different shapes.

* Project Title: “RAW MATERIAL CONSIGNMENT FOR STOCK DEVELOPMENT” * Reducing Lead Time in upstream of Supply Chain can get significant inventory reduction in entire supply chain. By stocking 14 Rod sizes flexibility for 175 items can be increased. * To increase flexibility towards customer demand by reducing lead time in supply chain i.e. from Raw Material Supplier to Manufacturing Plant by 50% (From 12 Weeks to 6 Weeks) * Interacted with Supply Chain Management Team and Raw Material Suppliers of SKF to develop a Raw Material Consignment for stock and managed vendors for 19 Bar Sizes.

* Project Title: “LEAD TIME REDUCTION FOR OPEL ELEVATORS” * Study the concept of efficient Supply Chain Model and Principles of Lean Management. * To reduce the reliability failure rate from Opel Lifts to customers by Lead time reduction within the system. * Optimized the Lead Time from 30 days to 6 days with respect to suppliers of Opel Lifts.

* WiFi signatures, required for location identification, are captured via a simple Android mobile application. This process is termed ‘mapping’. * For us to accurately identify location of our clients’ app users in Bengaluru across all places relevant for our clients, we need to visit as many commercial establishments as possible and fetch high quality data for us through the mobile application. * Mapping a commercial establishment in a particular area and apply the mapping techniques. * Map the entire zone and subsequently verify the data gathered with dashboards to monitor activity. * To build an operations team continuing the mapping activities. * Train the team rigorously for the quality of mapping data to remain top notch.
