STUP Consultants Pvt. Ltd. was established in India in 1963, by Yves Guyon and C.R Alimchandani.

In 2016 GECPL acquired Civil EPC undertaking of Gammon India Ltd through the scheme of arrangement as approved by the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), Mumbai branch. Appointed as a founding Executive Director of the GECPL. Executive Director on the Board of GECPL (Gammon Engineers and Contracting Pvt. Ltd. ). As a president of Engineering of Design, Construction, Technology Center (EDCTC), headed the entire Engineering aspects including Permanent Structures Design, Enabling Structures Design, Construction Process and Technology Design for all infrastructure projects like highways, bridges and flyovers, Metros Underground and Overhead, Marine Structures, Hydraulic Structures, Civil Works of Power Plants including Cooling Towers and Chimneys. In addition, presently acting as the Operational Head of Special Bridges like Signature Bridge in Delhi and Bagchal Bridge in Himachal Pradesh.

Joined the organization as a Design Engineer in 1985 and since then has worked in various positions. He was spearheading as a Member, Board of Management. About the Company: Gammon India Limited is one of the largest Civil Engineering Construction companies in India. It's headquartered in Mumbai and was founded in 1919 by John C. Gammon whose first Indian project was the first ever precast reinforced concrete piling job in the country—construction of the foundations of the Gateway of India, Mumbai.

As an operational Head for special bridges, have been instrumental in managing and fulfilling the project requirements by ensuring flawless transitions, expansions and any other changes as per the specifications and circumstances. Managed the commercial activities including contracts management, vendor/contractors/sub-contractors management, quantity surveying and resource optimization for ensuring delivery of projects within predefined timelines and specifications. Have been involved in reviewing project specifications and identifying technical constraints and requirements, monitored and reported the project status periodically to management on regular basis. As an engineering head am responsible for the permanent and temporary structures design for all types of bridges, aqueducts, cooling towers, chimneys, marine structures, hydraulic structures and river valley projects. By value engineering at this stage improving the profitability by 20%. I have been instrumental in implementing operational & engineering improvement and defining processes for ensuring achievement of organizational goals.

As a Group Head, he was looking after the strategic responsibilities, organization’s profitability and ensuring execution of large scale projects by providing directional leadership to high performance teams. He was accountable for evaluating feasibility of new projects, setting up seamless engineering operations and managing resources optimally. He was spearheading and looking after the execution of special bridges, where in some cases profitability was enhanced to 40% from 20% by Value Engineering. He has distinguished contributions in managing the end to end project cycle efficiently, setting up systems and processes in place, managing the entire gamut of people management practices, identifying the developmental needs of the employees and organizing training programmes for up-skilling and strengthening the internal competencies. He played a key role in improving the performance standards, comparatively analysed the industry best practices and implemented effective solutions for realizing project goals and exceeded the predefined targets by managing key accounts efficiently. Additionally, he maintained strong relationship with the government authorities for necessary project approvals and managing the project requirements seamlessly.

During this period was responsible for the permanent structure design of all types of bridges and flyovers including steel and concrete cable supported bridges, highways, cooling towers both induced and natural draft, chimneys single & multiple flue in brick lining as well as steel lining, hydraulic structures like aqueducts, intake wells, pump houses, marine structures like jetties,harbours, ports, diaphragm walls, river valley projects including river channelisation. Was responsible for the design of longest span cantilever bridge, tallest chimney and hyperbolic cooling tower, first extradosed bridge constructed by cast in situ cantilever method in the country when the same were designed.
