RoadMap is a national team of 70+ consultants across the country dedicated to advancing the power and promise of social justice organizations. We bring extensive on-the-ground experience, a range of complementary skills, and a diversity of race and ethnicity, class, sexual orientation, and geographic backgrounds that is rare in the consulting field.

* The Roddenberry Fellowship is a new 12-month program for activists from across the country who are working to protect the most vulnerable and to make the US a more inclusive and equitable place to live. Twenty Fellows receive $50,000 each, as well as tailored support, to help implement a project or initiative in one of four areas: Civil Rights * Climate Change and Environmental Justice * Immigration and Refugee Rights * LGBTQIA and Women’s Rights.

The Collaborative Project of Maryland is a nonprofit organization that provides clients of low and modest means access to Collaborative dispute resolution -- including separation, divorce, and other family transitions. We link eligible parties with Collaborative attorneys on a pro bono (free) or reduced- or subsidized-fee basis. The Collaborative attorneys will help the parties work together to reach a mutually agreeable resolution to their dispute.

College Spark funds programs in Washington state that help low-income students become college-ready and complete their degrees. The Community Grants Program is a competitive grant program offering support in high-priority areas for low-income students in Washington.

The USO helps UW undergraduates develop the tools and insights necessary to match their goals with and successfully apply for local and national merit-based scholarship opportunities, including the Beinecke, Jack Kent Cooke, Fulbright, Rhodes, Soros, Truman, and others.

Chaya is an anti-domestic violence organization serving South Asian women and their communities.

The EIP prepares educationally and economically disadvantaged undergraduates for graduate or professional school. The Ronald McNair Scholars Program is a TRIO program that prepares low-income, first-generation college students and underrepresented students of color for graduate school leading to a doctorate degree.

ACCT is an organization of governing boards, representing trustees who govern community, technical, and junior colleges. The GISS is a temporary, Gates Foundation-funded program to educate trustees on data-driven policy making, focusing on (1) increasing student success and (2) reducing the gap between underrepresented and majority students. Institutes prepare community college trustees and presidents to set goals for improvement of student outcomes and features resident faculty, board self-assessments to determine effectiveness, an examination of student success data, a review of implications for policies and practices, and commitment-to-action reports.

* SAALT is a national nonprofit, non-partisan organization whose mission is to elevate the voices and perspectives of South Asian individuals and organizations to build a more just and inclusive society in the United States. SAALT’s strategies include conducting public policy analysis and advocacy * building partnerships with South Asian organizations and allies * mobilizing communities to take action * and developing leadership for social change.

* Designed and taught Minorities in America * Sociology of Work * Social Stratification * Social Statistics * Social Research Methods * Family in Society * Gender and Society * Macrosociology * Gender, Ethnicity and Work * Asian American Issues and Trends. Collaborated with faculty and staff to create two new minor programs (Asian American Studies and GLBT Studies). Served on Women Studies Curriculum Committee and in Multicultural Services Center’s Faculty Mentoring Program.
