* Manage portfolio of topics related to preclinical development * manufacturing, quality, and distribution * and postmarket. Analyze relevant FDA draft guidances and regulations, synthesize and communicate FDA policies and their potential impact to members, lead member discussions, draft BIO comment letters for submission to FDA docket.

Manage preclinical committees including monthly teleconference, surveys, white papers, webinars, and liaison meetings. Coordinate logistics and oversee two annual meetings with between 120 and 140 attendees: one in the US, the other in Europe. Manage BIO comment process for relevant FDA docket items. Write and distribute BIO's Science & Regulatory Affairs Week in Review newsletter to over 200 members with relevant activity updates, upcoming meetings, docket items, and news stories. Research for topics spanning the entire drug development/approval spectrum for use in talking points, papers, etc. Administrative duties including budget tracking, meeting scheduling.

Responsible for assisting the Director of Economic Health Policy and Director of International Health Policy. Duties included putting together the International News Review and the Economic News Review on a weekly basis, scheduling meetings, research, other administrative duties.

Participated in the research and coding of cases for an original database of legal opinions on immigration from the U.S. Courts of Appeals, conducted a literature search on domestic immigration policy, and summarized quantitative and qualitative findings.

Participated in the day-to-day operations of Senator Durbin’s Chicago office including answering phone calls, opening mail, inputting new casework, assisting senior staff members with constituent casework and working closely with the Chicago scheduler on letters of congratulations, greeting, support, and recommendation.

Helped maintain daily campaign operations, participated in phone banking, managed phone bank, canvassing, and election day activities

Participated in the day-to-day operations of Alderman Vi Daley’s office including answering phone calls, constituent questions and issues, selling city zone stickers, and guest passes as well as special events and other duties as assigned.
