Vasileios Sioulis

I hold an MSc degree in Materials & Manufacturing Engineering at the Technical University of Denmark. My educational focus was on the processing of plastic materials, as well as the plastic product development. I have gained experience on 3D CAD modelling and injection moulding simulations. I have a keen interest on sustainability and achieving circularity on plastics products. I believe it is essential to minimise plastic waste and promote the transition from using single-use plastics to the production of high quality and functional products using recycled plastic materials. In addition, I hold an integrated master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Ioannina. My master thesis focused on the static and dynamic experimental study of a model of cable suspension bridge model, using non-destructive evaluation (NDE). During my studies my interest was focused on physical metallurgy, mechanical testing and quality control as well as on design and development of materials within the framework of sustainability.
