As a freelance audio engineer, I’ve worked across a range of dynamic projects—from virtual events and studio sessions to production and content creation. I specialize in capturing, editing, sound designing and mastering high-quality audio that enhances the listener’s experience and meets professional standards. My role requires a sharp ear and the ability to adapt quickly to different clients, environments, and creative visions. I’ve collaborated with musicians, content creators, and many different production teams to bring ideas to life through sound. As a summer intern at a vibrant South Asian performing arts center, I captured the beauty and energy of classical dance, music, and storytelling through photography and videography. I was involved in most steps of the content creation process—from setting up cameras and lighting equipment to filming rehearsals, performances, and a few behind the scene moments. I edited footage and photos for social media, promotional materials, and archival use, helping the center boost its digital presence and connect with a wider audience. I also helped organize and manage media files, maintained equipment, and collaborated with instructors and performers to bring their creative visions to life. This role sharpened my technical skills in shooting and editing, while also teaching me how to work in a fast-paced, artistic environment. I learned to adapt quickly, meet deadlines, and approach creative work with both structure and flexibility. Most importantly, I gained hands-on experience in using visual storytelling to support and celebrate a cultural arts community.

At Kumon Hillsborough, I worked around 10 hours a week helping over 100 students, from little kids to those learning college-level math and writing. I gave placement tests and helped students one-on-one to make sure they were improving. I also kept in touch with parents to update them on their child’s progress. When the main instructor wasn’t there, I took over as manager. I made sure everything at the center ran smoothly, assigned tasks to other staff, and helped manage students. I also made sure we followed all the rules. This role helped me build skills like teamwork, time management, and clear communication. I also learned how to plan, solve problems, and stay calm and positive while working with a wide range of students and staff. Overall, this job helped me grow as a leader and taught me how to stay patient and focused in a busy, fast-paced setting.

As the Football Media Manager, I captured the energy and intensity of the game both on and off the field. I was responsible for filming full games, taking high-quality photos during key moments, and creating engaging highlight reels and content to showcase team performance, spirit, and growth. I handled every part of the production process—from setting up equipment and recording footage to editing videos and curating content for social media, recruitment, and internal review. My work not only helped promote the team to a wider audience but also played a key role in performance analysis and athlete development. This role sharpened my skills in sports media production, video editing, and content strategy, while also teaching me how to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage creative projects in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.
