The role of the Head of HR & GA is to develop employee experience strategies aligned to the corporate philosophies and provide management consultancy for both the Singapore and UK trading entities.

OGEST is Daigas group’s LNG trading arm, based in Singapore. The role of the Senior HR Manager is to Plan, Lead & Manage strategic HR programs to improve employee experience (EX) and to provide HR transformation consultancy & talent growth advisory to business leaders within the organization.

This role provides progressive and coordinated Human Resource direction to and partner with companies outside of Japan. To provide leadership in driving the development and implementation of strategic and tactical regional HR initiatives, In addition to the regional role, this role also sits within the global HR team and will be responsible to provide insights, analysis and guidance on global HR initiatives.

The role is primarily accountable for all client facing people operations with focus on people development for the group companies under Asian Regional Headquarters. This role also manages total people experience and full suite of HR operations including recruitment, on-boarding, expat mobility, HR policies standardization & implementation, and employee engagement survey implementation & action planning and partnering with key stakeholders including Management, HR leaders, external partners and peers to enhance the delivery of HR projects.

This role manages total people experience and full suite of HR operations and the management of the new Regional HQ office as well as the implementation of systems and policies for office management including vendor management, contractual negotiations and facilities management.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director of Asia Pacific, the core scope was the maintenance of time sensitive data correspondence and headcount related information across the APAC region and the head office in United States. Leading the newly established APAC office, my role included both the maintenance of the Singapore office facilities as well as key HRBP activities including employee engagement, organizing of corporate activities. visa matters of expatriate staff and coordination of their mobility. Key achievements included: Leading the renovation and build-out of a brand new office and the movement of all employees Awarded the Most Valuable Team Player of the APAC region in 2012 by the voting of all employees across the region for my efforts in the establishment of a newly acquired office space.

The role manages the client corporate management and servicing that included the establishments and renewals of trust funds, the establishments of companies in Singapore and in Australia, the opening of corporate banking accounts for clients as well as being the main collections officer for paid accounting services rendered.

Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Singapore, Malaysia & Thailand, this role required attention to detail and perfect time management skills. Experience in the services and sales industry has also challenged me in mastering networking skills and providing top notch customer service to clients on the floor on a daily basis. During my time in Servcorp, I also took on a second role as the marketing assistant to the Singapore team and assisted with the planning and executing of monthly client drinks, real estate agent networking sessions as well as the annual year end customer appreciation parties.

The role's core scope was working at the Petrobras P54 FPSO conversion and included weekly and monthly reporting, provision of graphical analysis and overall documentation as well as being the communications liaison officer between project directors in Singapore and in Brazil.
