Work claims that have gone to bad debt due to days insurance has not paid. Contact insurance companies to find out the status of claims, as well as appeal any claims or request corrected claims for any claims that might have errors. I review the hospitals accounts to verify it isn’t an input error, as well as contact patients for additional information or to provide the final balance left to the patient.

Data entry, inputting the claims into the system so that they can be billed out to insurance companies or the patient.
